Nepal Earthquake Victim Relief

Situation: On 25th of April 2015, an earthquake of 7.9 magnitude struck Pokhara in Nepal. It affected its neighboring countries too, including India. The disaster claimed more than 7000 lives, more than 17000 people were injured, and 80 million people were left homeless. Although charities and countries around the world quickly released emergency aid for those requiring basic necessities, temporary shelters, and blankets were in extreme shortage and required immediate supply.

Our support: Ceragem decided to provide emergency supplies to help victims. We chose one area which required the support urgently. We provided tents and blankets in the Kabre area (40 km away from Kathmandu) once road permission was granted on 25th May 2015.
