Sai Vridh Aashram, Nangloi – Delhi CSR Activity
We believe in giving love and care to our elders, to experience the shower of immense love and blessings.
Around 50 elders are staying at a nursing home located at Nihal Vihar in Delhi. It is operated by a welfare group, Sai Vridh Ashram, which consists of eight directors. Though they are not able to pay the rent of nursing homes, they still do not stop caring for those elders under difficult circumstances. Despite being well-known, this nursing home does not receive enough donations from other corporations or enterprises.
Our support: Donation Campaign – Ceragem Direct Centre managers, staff, and customers participated in the donation campaign and purchased hospital mattresses, a deep freezer, a chemist cabinet, and kitchen materials for the elders who are staying at the nursing home.
Our managers and customers cleaned beds and replaced the old mattresses with new hospital mattresses. They distributed thick blankets to all the elders so that they remain warm and comfortable. Elders need their medication on time. To help them find their medications on an urgent basis, we placed a chemist cabinet where everyone can easily locate their medicines without any delay. To make sure that they don’t eat stale food, we installed a deep freezer in the kitchen and donated fresh kitchen supplies.
Our members and staff spent a whole day at the nursing home and prepared a meal for them too, gaining their blessings and support.
